Please reach us at Reservations@NorseWoodcabins.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Check-in is scheduled at 2 PM. Please visit our front office to collect your keys upon arrival. For check-ins after office hours, kindly call or text us, and we will arrange for your keys to be ready for pick-up or to be collected at the pub. Keys are typically placed on clipboards along with additional information and documentation regarding your stay.

Check-out is scheduled for 10 AM on your departure day. An unscheduled late check-out may incur a fee of up to half the rate of a single night's stay, charged to the card on file.

A 25% deposit is required in advance to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is payable upon arrival by check, cash, or credit card. In the event of a cancellation before 72 hours (3 days) of your arrival, a full refund will be issued.

Cancellation Policy: To avoid a one-night full room charge, reservations must be cancelled at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to your arrival date. No-shows will incur charges for the full room rate plus taxes. We appreciate as much notice as possible for cancellations to mitigate the impact of lost bookings.

Personal Checks: Accepted for deposits and at check-in, deposits made by personal check must clear at least 15 days before arrival.

Pets are Welcome: Pets are permitted with a daily charge of $25. Dogs must be leashed at all times while on the grounds, and owners are required to clean up after their pets. Damage caused by pets may result in fees of up to $500.

No Smoking inside Cabins: Our cabins are strictly non-smoking. This includes tobacco products and vaping. Violation of this policy will result in a $250 cleaning fee charged to the card on file. Smoking is permitted outside of the cabins.

We are not liable for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes. To avoid a one-night full room charge, reservations must be cancelled at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to your arrival date. No-shows will be charged the full reservation amount plus taxes.

Each room includes: a full kitchen with a microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. Flat screen TV's are provided in every cabin along with free wi-fi for the duration of your stay. Blankets, sheets, and towels are also provided for every room. Towel exchanges are available throughout the week for all cabins. While turndown service is not offered during your stay, urgent needs can be addressed by texting 630-777-1527, and we will assist promptly.

Grilling and bonfires: Each cabin comes equipped with either a charcoal or gas grill, and a firepit for bonfires.

Damaged or Missing Items: Items missing from cabins post-checkout will incur charges at replacement cost. Lost keys cost $25 each. Room or equipment damage, such as carpet stains needing extensive cleaning, will result in charges based on repair or replacement costs.

Age Requirements: Individuals must be 18 or older to reserve a room. All guests must be of this age unless accompanied by a parent.

Add-Ons: These are incidental charges, such as boat motor rentals, in-cabin food delivery, firewood delivery, The Cove Pub food and beverages charged to the cabin at the time of service, etc. Add-ons due upon departure of your stay.
